About Me
My Background
As a child I was always drawing and this led to Commercial Art in college. I changed focus when I took a job at a cemetery- monument shop, there I fell in love with working stone.
My Medium
My main medium is stone and cast metals like bronze and aluminum. Most memorials are in granite though I enjoy and promote Slate, Marbles and other softer stones as they can be very nice as well.
My Inspiration
I love classic design with good proportions and the "great Masters" of antiquity demonstrated these well. I have a passion to be that good at my own designs. I am drawn to fine works in cemeteries and strive to emulate their excellence in every piece I do.
